Vogue’s Marilyn Monroe Cover by Michelle Williams

Actor Michelle Williams collaborated with highly acclaimed photographer Annie Liebovitz to bring back to life “Marilyn Monroe” for the cover Vogue’s October issue. Also added to the Blonde Bombshell’s enduring legacy in style and entertainment, these pictures further enhance Michelle Williams’s transformation in the upcoming film “My week with Marilyn”.

As told by Williams to Vogue that in preparing for her role she had to start outing on weight but it had changed the way her face looked and then she decided to stay slim and wear hip padding instead. As she felt that she wanted her face to be like Marilyn Monroe not her hips.

Marilyn Monroe has a lot of strong influences in Hollywood, which can be seen on Megan Fox as she has Monroe’s face tattooed on her arm, Lindsay Lohan named her clothing “Label 6126” after Monroe’s birthday and Scarlett Johansson played the part of “America’s Temptress” for a Dolce&Gabana ad campaign. But this larger than life image intimidated Williams, but at the end she learnt as much of the actress’s life as she could before filming.

William’s was quoted saying that she goes to bed every night with a stack of books next to her and she will fall asleep to her movies. She wanted to know much about he as she had big shoes to fill in Hollywood.

“My Week with Marilyn” is due in theaters November 4th, 2011 with her co-stars Emma Watson and Kenneth Branagh.
