  • Milan Fashion Week – 2011

    January 21st, 2011

Alexander McQueen Menswear Collection presented in the Milan Fashion Week, where the presentation attracted all the members. Creative director Sarah Burton’s Alexander McQueen Men’s Show was far away and nice change from the men’s runway show that flaunts male models frolicking in brand’s underwear or clothes that don
    ’t relate with wearer.

This is the men’s function it was related to only men’s clothes. The attractive presentation were

Sarah Burton’s designs – It’s like a sweep of English man style

Waistcoats, military jackets, and jodhpurs, in a dark color palette

Sarah presented designs like track pants paired with oversize military-influenced outerwear. Pieces like coats and the big plaid poncho brought camp drama. Jackets including a jacket with squared shoulder, engineered jacquards having sheen of a regimental breastplate, beefy military greatcoats with dramatic shearling collars, rompe l’oeil photo prints, pinstriped frock coat with odd slashed shoulder were stylish.
