  Masaba Gupta is touted as one of the most promising gen-next designers to hit the Indian fashion scene. This 21-year-old designer launched her label 'Masaba' in 2009 while she was still a student at S.N.D.T, Mumbai. She then struck gold with her first collection in the category of Gen Next Designers at the LFW in September, 2009. Her maiden collection, defied conventional and she won the most promising Designer Award for the same.
