In Tunis Fashion Week, Tunisian designers and models hit the catwalk
On the impressive scene of the Tunis Municipal Theater, famous Tunisian and international fashion models and designers hit the catwalk, on Wednesday at the 2010 “Fashion Week Tunis”, an event which has added momentum over the years and is now attracting an increasing number of fashion houses.
For 5 days, from April 13 to 18, the models will showcase the latest fashion creations of Tunisian and foreign designers wearing fashionable outfits as well as modern and fashionable clothes.
Major fashion industry executives, manufacturers, local creators, international fashion designers, models, directors of institutes and schools, professional makeup artists, students also journalists are taking part in the event.
International designers such as Cacharel, Eric Tibush, High Street Fashion, Phalaenopsis and Renato Nucci are too part of the show.
A unique platform for exchange and networking opportunities linking North Africa to Western Africa and the Middle East, the 2010 “Fashion Week Tunis” will certainly boost Tunisia’s position in terms of fashion, trade and tourism. For many new participants, the event is probable to be the stepping stone for fame.
