Excellent year for fashion designer Manish malhotra

From Sonam Kapoor’s clothes in I Hate Luv Storys to Kareena Kapoor’s cargos in Golmaal. Body-conscious clothing that showed off a classic frame became admired. The star of the world Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s look in Robot was admired by the Autumn/Winter collection at place. Monochromatic dresses became a mass this year. Stylists finally bid goodbye to the typical style of combining too many colors and stuck to sporting a single shade. The back became the focus of most garments. Indian women might not be too comfortable showing off cleavage or their legs, but the back can be sensuous without being too risqué. Karenna Kapoor cowl salwar is the real hit of this year. The socialite style of combining western dresses with blow-dried hair and Indian earrings should come to an end with this decade. It’s time to move on.

Hilary Swank’s – Fashion Designer!

December 29th, 2010

She is one of the celebrity designers going the modern informal route, it’s nice to see someone break from the mold and try something new.

Hilary has been working with DMA Designers Management Agency to develop the concept for her athletic-inspired collection and is interviewing fashion designers to help her with the line.

She may have two Academy Awards to her name, but she is a very hard worker and she is greatly moving towards the success she is launching her second career in the fashion industry. The first news that came on last month was Hilary will host a fashion game show on The CW, and now Women’s Wear Daily is reporting that Hilary is upgrading her own fashion line!

Though we’re used to see Hilary looking, well, boasts on the show, it’s barely a shock that our actress would design athletic fashions (she had originally considered a T-shirt line). After all, Hilary was a gymnast in her younger years and has a number of kick-butt roles to her name (hello, “The Next Karate Kid” and “Million Dollar Baby”).

Anyway all the best for her second caree
