‘American Idol’s’ Kimberley Locke: Learning to beat high style notes
August 17th, 2010Kimberley Locke took center stage on “American Idol” since of her voice in Season 3, but she’s back on camera because of her evolving style.
Locke, who’s never lacked confidence, likes the way she appears as she models tight blouses and jeans on “You’re Wearing That?!?”
After fashion maven Luciene Salomone elucidated that she should wear V-necks and looser slacks, Locke says she shops a slight differently.
“When I have a show, I shop very particularly for that, instead of now saying ‘I can wear this,'” she says.
Locke, who credits Randy Jackson, with serving her take her career forward, says she learned a lot on this show.
“For me, it’s to not be scared to step outside of my comfort zone,” she says. “And when you are shopping, make convinced that you love it.”

David Chang in Vogue Fashion Shoot with Naomi Watts
August 16th, 2010Via Eater we discover the survival of a fashion spread in the upcoming September Vogue that features both David Chang and Naomi Watts, along with other models and actors.
Chang, doing his best sullen face, is in fact dressed in Diesel jeans, although you can only see the ends of them, peeking out from beneath his chef whites.
Looks like we’ll have to wait for the matter to drop to find out what the hell he’s doing in there.

Top South Korean fashion designer Andre Kim dies
August 13th, 2010Famous South Korean fashion designer Andre Kim has passed away at the age of 75.
The popular style icon died at the Seoul National University hospital on Thursday subsequent to battling pneumonia and colon cancer.
The eccentric designer had created outfits for South Korea’s leading stars, as well as Shim Jee Ho, Kim Min Jung and Hawaiian favourite, Jung Joon-ho.
He was sleeted as his homeland’s ambassador for fashion and designed shows for the Olympic Games in Seoul and Beijing.
Famed for his flowing white outfits and unconventional head make-up, he was South Korea’s first male fashion designer and was honored with the country’s Presidential Culture and Art Medal in 1977.
He never married, but is survived by his espoused son.
