Alexa Chung coming up soon in “24 – Hours Catwalk”
Alexa Chung the super model, multi – talented beauty is now going to host one the of hottest TV serial newly coming up. She has just followed the footsteps of the other model like Heidi Klum and Cat Deeley.
The show will only be featured in America and will be called as 24- hours catwalk. It is going to be a tough rivalry between designers fighting for the hot seat in a weekly challenge. I’m sure it would be fun, checking out the creative minds coming up with new wonders.
The show starts this autumn with rumors suggesting that designer Cynthia Rowley will also be featured. Thought for alexa, this is not the 1st show. She has already hosted before and been co-host of the Popworld on Channel 4 (London) as well as MTV’s It’s On With Alexa Chung. She is also the face of Lacoste Joy of Pink fragrance.

My Friends Fashion Show
My mom asked me and I said “the market will crowded today and i avoided going there”, but the moment my friends asked if I wanted to come for the fashion show, so that I could help if needed, I had a big smile on my face saying “OK” and I went ahead. We reached the studio. It sounded very interesting and classy to me to go for a shoot, but when I entered the hall my reaction automatically changed to “oh my god”. It was nothing less than a market.
A small backstage area was buzzing with models, make-up artists, hair stylists and helpers. It was a complete mess. People sitting on the ground as no chairs are empty, waiting for their outfits, some running here and there as the dress does not fit them last moment, a model getting her hair do done and eating food where three models are standing and waiting for their chance. A model is standing ready but unhappy with her outfit as it covers her from nowhere and the designer convincing her saying she is a model and has to wear what he gives. He has no options. Then the other two models are busy gossiping, not bothered about anything else when it’s only 20 min for the show to start, while the other models are helping each other so that they can make it on time and now the hairstylist is taking too long to finish one hairdo cant they hurry up! the designer goes and yells at them..All this looked really crazy to me. I had never imagined a show to be so complicated and the most astonishing thing to me was these guys were there from 11 o clock in the morning for a show which was at night 9 o clock. To me nothing can be a better experience than this back stage of a glamorous show.It was hilarious.

“It looks over sized and you will feel relaxed” – that’s the new trend in menswear for 2012
Now guys can move on free and relaxed. The trends take a turn in 2012. Loose styling was what dominated the runway in Paris and Milan on the ramp …… a relaxed fit, though it might not sound new to you, as its been in style in the past years, like the baggy jeans have been in for quite some time now, but it certainly differs in style from what was available before.
So what’s more in trend for the men this season, let’s go through the key words.
1. Seamless shoulders
2. Pleated pants
3. Loose pants
4. Loose cut jackets
Seamless shoulders say it all about the relaxed tailoring fit. Where the shoulder and sleeves are one without separation, with a more tapered look differentiating it from a kimono.
Pleated pants were just an experiment with men’s tailoring. As we have seen in the women’s wear, it’s just a try with men this time, using both forward pleats and inverse pleats on the trousers.
Loose pants as the term explains they are very loose fit trousers which do not give a formal look nor a casual look. It’s just loose at the thigh and the crotch.
Loose cut jackets are with seamless shoulders and voluminous sleeves which gives a feel of over sized coat on us. Where there is volume through the torso and seamless shoulder, but the shoulder is tailored in such a way that it still appears to fit and gives a clear look. It’s influenced with 1960s fashion.
