Colour buzz!!!
I love to put make up and I am sure most of you do … after all it enhances a girl’s beauty…..Eye shadow is in vogue…the ancient times are gone, when they were available only in brown, gold, grey colours.. Competitive market is ahead. Today when it comes to eye shadow, it takes a lot to impress us. We look at every aspect before buying, will this colour suit me, is this colour in trend, are the two shades matching combos, will this match my outfit…I think the blue should be lighter for perfect match and so no.
I accidently visited a MAC store last weekend. There Semi Precious collection, offers a range of swirled, multitone shadows with a marble effect. They have Shades like darker navy, violet, green, and burgundy-flecked palettes which gives a smoky gray on your lids — these are a couple standouts in the mix. Hint of Sapphire is dusky, lilac-tinged silver (a blend of pink violet, teal, copper, and blue), while they also have Faux Gold a warm colour, peachy gold that complements sun-kissed skin (a mash-up of coral, gold, lime, and bronze). I’m in love with the shades and bought a couple of these, go check it out for yourself and remember these few tips while picking up.
Key — The richest colors should stay closest to the lashline, fading as it reaches your eye’s crease.
Pick colors that compliment your eyes & skin color — Blue shadows make blue eyes pop, while lilac & purples are gorgeous on brown eyes & black-skinned & olive-skinned women. If you have pink skin (as opposed to a yellow base), avoid pinky-purples.
Prefer combos, a light & a dark — Pick a soft color for the entire eye area up to the browbone & then use the darker color only up to your eye’s crease.
Go nude— Nude lips with gloss suits these strong eyes perfectly. Avoid colors on lips, they’ll not only compete with your strong eyes, but the colors could clash.

Eve Salvail – loves her tattooed scalp
I must say I’m quite excited, because we are going to see a stunner/ The French Canadian model Eve Salvail – Who actually shaved here head. Did you know about here. The daring renowned model is known for the bald head and dragon tattooed on the scalp, she sometimes grows here hair and colours it blond, red and pink. She has hit the runway with her debut for Jean Paul Gaultier. The married model was bi sexual before marriage but is very happy with her settled life today. I think she is really daring to be branded for bald head as a model – immense risk in it. What do you think?

THIS IS WHERE STYLING STARTS – CHANGE YOUR LOOK!!! 2011 HAIR-DO’S.
Trends sweep in as an unstoppable storm, changing the entire glance of an individual. 2010 was with its own unique styles having side braid, two top knots, straight hair and so on. This hair-do revolutionize to a new look including more of messed up styles having braid top bun, half braided hair, double knot hair, birds nest bun, fringe bangs, pixie cut.
- DOUBLE KNOT HAIR
Carry forwarding the same from last year’s styles, double hair knot is just as effortless and a simpler version of braid hair best suited for spring summer 2011 styled by Orlando pita for the Michael kors catwalks.
- BIRDS NEST BUN
The hair style evolved from the top knot style. Its little flimsy, little messy but elegant. The birds nest top knot is just an oversized knot. Try it out! First apply a little mousse on your mid length and end of hair. Blow dry the mousse into the hair. Pull the hair tight and make a high pony tail. Divide the pony in several sections and tease each section to create volume, them comb it even. Rap the hair evenly around the pony tail and knot it up. Pin your hair with bob pins to hold it. Finally apply hair spray.
- HALF BRAID HAIR
The keys to styling the half up braided hairstyle is to create both volume and texture.
- If you have straight hair creates gentle waves around your hair. We need very loose waves.
- You should now have a head of lightly tangled, textured waves, now back-comb the hair but only a small amount – you can see from both the photos that this is a braided hairstyle that is more about texture then it is about volume. With the bottom half of your hair flowing free
- Begin by separating the top two sections Next, take the larger of the two top sections and create a French braid along the head at a diagonal angle (e.g. from the part-line on the right side of the head back towards the left ear).
- The braid should only reach about half way down the head, with the rest of the hair hanging loose. After you’ve braided your hair half way down, secure the end of the braid with several bobby pins, crossing them over to ensure they stay in place.
- PIXIE HAIRCUT
This is a very short hair style which one would like to adopt in case you are seeking a change. It flatters every single woman regardless her age, hair and face shape. It’s a fresh and youthful haircut that even though it looks rather boyish it’s sexy and feminine.
A pixie haircut is really low maintenance hairstyles. You just must use some serum for shiny hair and separate locks. If your hair is straight, is the styling that counts probably the most and finally makes the distinction. Have some hair mousse applied on the length along with the ends of your hair.
Revealing your face, pixie hairstyles is all about attitude as you have to be completely confident in your facial traits.
Try out the new looks of 2011 any more details needed, keep us posted.
