Forever Indian Fashion !!!!!
Fashion today has made significant impact in all sectors of life even when we are surrounded by several things that are either related to the technology or the latest gadgets in the busy living world. At first the fundamental purpose of clothing was to keep the body sheltered from weather and other harsh elements of environment but now it is also used to be evidence for the diverse social dynamics. Fashion is a perception of creating the personality of looking fine in anything you wear and this enchantment is shaped with right kind of colors, accessories going along with clothes. No matter what you wear, from simple style to haute-couture it should make amusing picture to view by creating a style statement. Fashion has become a meaning of good living.
Fashion can be segregated into 3 groups. One is who create fashion and style statement for others to follow; Second one is who follows the trends &adopt them and third one is who have their own style to make their own distinctive personality
In the past Fashion was only to the legends in the film industry and to others in top classes of the society. But slowly when times began changing, women’s have started showing more interest towards fashion. Fashion has been influenced by the Bollywood industry. People started to follow trends set by their favorite actors& actresses. Women’s get attracted to various sari styles in Bollywood right from color, print, designer blouses, and work on sari to draping styles. Gradually women’s moved from wearing saris to chudidhar, salwar kameez and then to western outfits, cocktail wear, etc… At the same time men’s also loved women being fashionable and they also started following the trends and ready to invest more on clothing line. As we all know about the fashion life cycle, the trend in past centuries, 60’s , 70’s, 80’s has only come into existence again but with style variations which is a unique one and suitable for current trend. Some inspiration from the past fashion, culture, arts has only helped to create the new styles. So this is how the fashion goes on.
Eventually people started to spend more on clothing and massive market was created to meet the demands of public. The change in attitude of the public has brought a great revolution in Indian fashion industry. Right from glamour to traditional wear everything was there in Indian fashion market. Apart from common factors like quality, durability and comfort the individuality of the product and its luxurious look are the reasons that make the scope of the product to be marketed. Indian people nowadays are becoming more brand conscious. The attractive market for luxury brand, many international brands is being opened everyday to meet the requirements of people. Brand building which is becoming a major factor in Fashion industry.
People want to tryout different kinds of textures of materials, colors in their outfits and nowadays designers also provide them with variety of collections. Today people are realistic and particular about their perception of styling for a particular occasion right from simple outing, party to marriage they want the best.
The change in scene of Indian fashion has attributed to the growth of many designers. Designers in India are spreading the Indian fashion culture and variety of clothing styles in India to the whole world. India is proud to have designers like Manish Malhotra, Ritu Kumar, Ritu beri, Rohit bal and many more who with their talent and exclusive fabrics in India, create designs that are even well-liked by top designers in the world. Indian fashion is more famous for gorgeous embroidered cloth which depicts the culture and desires of our nation. When the global fashion industry has started welcoming Indian fashion at the same time people in India has also started adopting more of western fashion. Nowadays fashion world is distinguished by Indo-western style that is a perfect blend of modernity and tradition.
One important thing to mention here, fashion is not only about clothing alone but also the other things like accessories i.e. watch, handbags, jewellery, etc., and footwear that goes along with the clothing style. Accessories help in highlighting the style that you wear. So, more importance has to be given to the accessories also because if anything goes wrong then it will become a wrong style statement.
Anyhow the word “fashion” which made a great revolution in fashion industry is moving ahead with an innovation on each day. Green fashion which is one of the greatest innovations in fashion industry by considering the environmental factors and people also started to encourage these innovative styles by buying these clothes. Hoping our fashionista grows forever and ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!
” Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening – Coco Chanel”
