• Joan smalls was born in 1899, in Puerto Rico. This alluring model started her career from new York signing up with an agency. After her first break she signed with elite, and catwalked for Tory Burch, Ports, Tracy Reese, Heatherette, L’Wren Scott and Benjamin Cho. She then appeared in campaigns for Liz Claiborne, Gucci and advertised for clothing companies. The spark of Joan continued. She became the face of the label ports 1961.she has graced the pages of cosmopolitan and appeared in Ricky martins’ music video “it’s alright”. Joan Smalls catwalked for Oscar de la Renta, Vivienne Westwood, Roberto Cavalli and Narciso Rodriguez. . She works for agencies – Elite Model Management, IMG models - New York, Parigi, Londra, and Milano.
